Programs we participate in

- Walmart Affiliate Network (via Impact).
- iHerb Affiliate Program.
- 1st Phorm Affiliate Program.
- MyProtein Affiliate Program.
- Bodybuilding.com Affiliate Program.
- Other programs through major affiliate networks (Impact, CJ Affiliate, ShareASale, Rakuten).
As of the "Last updated" date above, some of these programs are pending approval. We disclose all programs we participate in or have applied to so that the relationship is clear before you click.
How affiliate links work
When you click an affiliate link on Labelgrade, the retailer's website may set a cookie on your browser that identifies the click as having come from us. If you complete a purchase within the cookie's window (often 24 hours, sometimes longer), the retailer pays Labelgrade a commission — usually a percentage of the sale.
You pay nothing extra. The commission comes from the retailer's margin, not from a surcharge to you.
How we mark affiliate links
- Every Labelgrade page that contains affiliate links displays an affiliate disclosure block above the fold (the highlighted box at the top of the page).
- Affiliate links carry the
rel="sponsored nofollow"attribute, per Google's webmaster guidance. - "Where to buy" sections are explicitly labeled and not mixed into editorial commentary.
How this affects our scoring
It does not. The Labelgrade score for a product is determined by the formula published at /methodology applied to public USDA nutrition data, before any commercial consideration. We grade first, then decide whether to add affiliate links.
We do not:
- Inflate scores for products we have affiliate relationships with.
- Deflate or omit scores for competitors of affiliates.
- Accept payment to add, change, or remove a product from the site.
- Accept payment to write favorable content about a product.
- Hide our affiliate relationships.
Our editorial standards document this in more detail.
Why we run affiliate links at all
Labelgrade is bootstrapped and reader-supported. Affiliate revenue is what lets us pay for hosting, data infrastructure, and the time it takes to research and write each product page. Without it, we'd need to rely on display advertising (which we may eventually add, transparently) or some other model. Affiliate links are the least-intrusive way for readers who want to buy what we cover to support us.
You can support us without buying anything
- Share a Labelgrade page that helped you make a decision.
- Subscribe to our newsletter (top of every page).
- Tell us when we get something wrong — corrections make the site better.
